The Records Unit provides comprehensive records and reporting services for the purpose of supporting the
law enforcement objectives of the Miami Police Department, other bona fide law enforcement agencies and the
general public in accordance with required Florida State Statutes. The Records Unit is the primary repository
of police reports generated by sworn personnel of the Miami Police Department. The Unit is an element of
the Support Services Section which is a component of the Administration Division. The Records Unit is
responsible for the processing, storage, retrieval and effective management of police reports.

Our hours of operations are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am to 2pm. We are closed on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and all legal holidays. You may also request
